Mary N. Hasavari is a film director and writer with an international background which includes Norway, Thailand, and Iran. She received an MA in Filmmaking from The London Film School, but made her first film at the age of 16, a documentary about Black-metal kids. Her film, BEFORE SPRING, was nominated to Best Short at five film festivals, receiving honorable mentioning at The Isle of Wight International Film Festival.
